Walking from Otagi to Adashino in Sagano

Otagi Nenbutsu-ji and Adashino Nenbutsu-ji are two temples tucked away in the hills of Sagano, on the western outskirts of Kyoto. It takes about 15 minutes to walk between the two temples, along a road lined with old thatch-roofed houses and restaurants. It's quiet, secluded and off the beaten foreign tourist track.
